Properties:White or colorless translucentlump or powder consisting of ammonium bicarbonate and ammoniumhydroxylcarbamate.It have Irritating ammonia odor.In the air gradually becomeammonium bicarbonate.Decomposed into ammonia and carbon dioxide when heated to550 ℃.Soluble in water, but in hot water (70 ℃)decomposition, insoluble in concentrated aqueous ammonia and ethanol.
